01 Dec A good night’s sleep.
This morning some of the parents of Holy Trinity children attended a sleep workshop- as strange as it may sound. There were some key messages which came out in the talk: promoting a good night’s sleep; why sleep is needed; sleep hygiene and also the amount of sleep an average child needs. Lots of interesting points were made, including information about sleep which is not widely known. It is important that children have a routine for both their bedtime and morning, which can take up to 2 weeks to establish, and that their sleep hygiene and environment are clear of distractions.
