19 Oct Year 3’s spectacular Cave Art
To end their learning on Ancient Britain, Year 3 transported back in time to the Stone Age creating their own cave art to communicate their learning. The children used charcoal and chalk to draw scenes representing life in Ancient Britain. The scenes range from horses, reindeer, cooking and hunting. They selected colours that could have been made from crushed rocks and used their hands to blend and leave hand prints. The children loved the opportunity to draw and leave their mark on the school walls! What a lovely way to celebrate their learning!
