04 Jul Awesome Year 5 trip to the Science Museum!
On Tuesday 2nd July, Year 5 took an amazing trip to the Science Museum. Our coach journey took us through the streets of London, when we eventually arrived at our destination. Our first stop off was the incredible Wonderlab!!! As we explored, we found different experiments we could carry out, like the friction slides and the pulley chairs. After we had lunch, the children got to watch an interesting show on forces and how rockets launch into space! There were a lot of times when we all had to cover our ears as the experiments were SUPER loud. We also had the opportunity to go into the ‘Exploring Space’ and ‘Challenge Materials’ rooms. It was a fantastic day and the children were a credit to the school. Well done Year 5!!
Alfie Willet gave his recount of the day –
On Tuesday, Year 5 went to the Science museum up in London. There was so much to see and do! My favourite part was The Wonderlab. We got to touch and feel so much stuff such as feeling the vibrations of sound and making pieces of paper fly. There was also a pulley chair which myself and Oscar raced on, I won!
