19 Oct Year 4 Compassion Experience
Children in Year 4 had a wonderful opportunity to take part in the Compassion Experience at Holy Trinity Church this week. The children were invited to walk through recreated rooms with objects belonging to a real person named Patience from Uganda. They were able to wear headphones and listen to the voice of Patience who started her life in extreme poverty but, with support, is now free from poverty and giving back into her own community. The children were fascinated by her experience and were able to discuss respectfully any of the differences in the way Patience grew up to their own.
