At Holy Trinity CofE Junior School, we believe that reading and writing underpin the entire curriculum. The skills we learn in English contribute to the progress and attainment of pupils in all subjects.

Design Technology

MFL
French is taught with a focus on practical communication so that the children’s conversational skills are developed. In Holy Trinity, we aim to provide a balance of both spoken and written language to lay the fundamentals for further study at KS3.

Geography

History teaching focuses on enabling children to think as historians and bring history to life. We place an emphasis on historical skills enabling children to learn about the past through these key skills.
