Safeguarding
As a school we have a duty to protect all children and keep them safe. Child Protection is the process of protecting children and young people who have been identified as suffering, or are likely to suffer harm as a result of abuse.

SEN
We aim to identify, support and integrate all children with SEN to enable them to make maximum progress and reach their full potential in a caring mainstream setting. Our policy is in line with the SEN Code of Practice 2014.

Behaviour
Behaviour for Learning is about behaving in a way that enables you to learn best – e.g. looking, listening, being ready, etc., and behaving in a way that enables those around you to learn best.
Governors
The governing body is made up of a group of volunteers with a constitution allowing for up to 16 members, who love the school and are committed to its flourishing.
School Performance
In 2016 the Government introduced new national curriculum tests (commonly called SATs) to reflect the revised national curriculum launched in 2014. Test results are no longer reported as levels. Scaled scores are used instead to help calculate the new progress measures for schools.

Pupil Premium
All members of staff, governors and teaching assistants accept responsibility for pupils who are eligible for pupil premium and are committed to meeting their pastoral, social and academic needs within the school environment.
P.E. Grant
The Government is providing funding of £150 million per annum to provide new, substantial primary school sport funding. Schools are to spend the sports funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they will have the freedom to choose how they do this.

Parking
To keep everyone as safe as possible, please try to park away from the school and then walk with your children. There are 3 schools in close proximity and roads become unsafely congested if drivers park close to the school.
