RHE
RHE is at the core of what we do and enables our children to become independent, confident, resilient healthy and responsible members of society with developing teamwork skills. It also develops each learner intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually (applying SMSC values).
Through our whole-school approach to RHE, it is our belief that this content, understanding and application of it, across the curriculum leads to exemplary education for Holy Trinity pupils and beyond in their later life.
Our RHE curriculum equips children with relevant and meaningful content for real and virtual life, linking to our values at Holy Trinity, The Church of England and British values. This is supported through a strong emphasis on emotional literacy, building resilience and nurturing mental and physical health and wellbeing. With an ever changing society, we are able to provide our children with a strong understanding of the diverse world around them and support them in playing a positive role in contributing to the school and the wider community. Weaving through the heart of our RHE teaching, is a commitment to enhancing and promoting our core Christian Values, Learning, Integrity, dignity, love and confidence.
Our Year 6 residential trip is an action-packed adventure designed to foster teamwork, build resilience, and create lasting memories. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports and outdoor activities, challenging themselves physically and developing new skills. Alongside the physical challenges, the residential provides ample opportunity for social interaction, strengthening friendships and building a sense of community within the year group. Evening activities and shared experiences will encourage collaboration, communication, and create bonds that will last long after the trip is over. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the end of primary school and prepare for the next step in their educational journey.
