At Holy Trinity, our RE curriculum enables pupils to acquire a rich, deep knowledge and understanding of Christian belief and practice. It will engage and challenge them through an exploration of core concepts and questions. The curriculum provides opportunities to understand the role of foundational texts, beliefs, rituals and practices and how they help form identity in Judaism, Hinduism and Islam. We provide a safe space for children to explore their own religious, spiritual and/or philosophical ways of seeing, living and thinking, believing and belonging.
We nurture spiritual growth and encourage exploration of faith through meaningful experiences. In Year 3, pupils embark on a journey of discovery, visiting Holy Trinity Church and participating in a captivating Nativity performance. Year 4 continues the exploration with a moving Easter Experience and a special performance of the Easter story at Holy Trinity Church. Year 5 celebrates the abundance of harvest, while Year 6 participates in a special Leavers’ Service, reflecting on their academic and spiritual journey throughout their time at the school. These experiences foster a sense of wonder, encourage reflection, and provide a space for pupils to connect with their faith and values.
