P.E. Grant

Holy Trinity CofE Junior School has worked hard to enhance P.E. within the school. Over the last few years  the focus was professional development, however, we have shifted our focus to engaging more children in sport an exercise. The aim is to encourage a range of children to engage in both P.E. lessons as well as lunchtime and after school clubs. Having developed P.E. and sport provision, we have incorporated Kick London, a sports coaching and mentoring company, to help further develop our children into fantastic team players who will over the course of the club acquire and develop their skills both physically and emotionally.

Teachers have continued to use the skill development from specialist coaches from last year and incorporate these into their lessons so that the the children can learn the skills they need across all sports. The teachers will have benefited from 1:1 support from a specialist sports teacher, which will continue throughout the year. All teachers have continued to work on specific development areas and have implemented these into their practice. The specialist support that teachers have received is continually being used to stretch all children during lessons so that they can achieve their full potential especially the more able.

This year, we will continue to develop our P.E. and sports provision, providing, ensuring and encouraging an array of opportunities for every child.

Holy Trinity Sports Premium 2023 2024

To celebrate the successes of our P.E. and sports, Holy Trinity was awarded the Silver School Games Mark award for our achievements in 2022 – 2023!
